you can evaluate period of your structure mode with eigen value. it's releation is T(period mode i)=2*pi(3.14)/(((ei(eigen value mode i))^0.5).

from above eequation can undesrstand when eigen value rise then period Decrease it means: mass of structure rised or stiffnes of it Decreased.

The eigen functions represent stationary states of the system i.e. the system can achieve that state under certain conditions and eigenvalues represent the value of that property of the system in that stationary state.
