Can you share the properties of the timber used in the project?

Most important point here is assigning proper material properties of wood so that stiffness of the members are correctly taken inti account. Secondly, can you elaborate how you arrived at this conclusion as the results are not correct.

Moreover if the whole truss is more stuff than this will behave as outrigger at top which may result in less lateral displacements

@Mehran Shahpari I'm following Indian Standard code 883:1994 . Assuming Group C timber

Name- " Phebe hainesiana"

weight/unit vol= 566kg/m3

E= 95 N/mm2

U= 0.3

( rest are by default)

for material properties I'm following IS883:1994. For the same Frame, when Timber Truss is added , base reaction reduced though the weight of the frame increase due to addition of Truss. On the other hand Max Joint Displacement is too huge ( 600 m) which is impossible.
