Do we have to use Envelope combination for the defined loads in beam design in ETABS, SAP2000?

When using the ENVELOPE load combination in SAP2000, ETABS it overdesigns the section for horizontal line members like beams. This is also stated by https://lnkd.in/dbUj2rnp

But, in practice designers generally prefer this envelope load combination. Is there any reason to consider this?
