I have been working on many aspects of grebe flight, particularly eared grebes (or black-necked grebes) migratory flight.
Unfortunately, there is very little documentation of grebes flying available in the internet (Youtube, Flirck, etc.). Moreover most of these videos do not have the necessary quality to do any kinematic analysis.
Therefore, I would be very thankful if anyone can point me into the direction where to find good videos or share contacts that I could make further enquiries.
I would contact the authors of this paper. It's possible they may have captured some flight videos that were not the focus of their paper, but may be useful to you:

Not sure if you still look for videos, but thought I'll give it a go anyway
I am not sure if this is as helpful as Lindsay's hint, but I guess you can ask at the BTO, the British Trust for Ornithology. They also have a youtube channel (BTOvideo) including two videos of grebes (not flying), but I assume, they have some more footage than shown in these videos. The three Authors of "Flight Identification of European Seabirds" (Anders Blomdahl, Bertil Breife and Niklas Holmström) may have some access to video material aswell, and if not, they may know people who have.
At the moment, I am in contact with a friend of mine who filmed a documentation video of a lake in Germany, but have not yet received an answer to whether or not she has video material of flying grebes. If so, I can send you her email so that you can get in contact with her.
