I am basically using medicinal leeches for therapeutic purposes but getting very hard to arrange sterile leeches so looking for the help to establish a leech bank or small leech farm for their breeding and maintaining the standard storage conditions.
Nice idea, in my view any institute should do such job, any how as a business you may do this, what type of help you need?
Being a govt. employee my first priority is to get the sterile leeches and no such supplier exists in india till now. I want to know if anyone from zoology have some idea regarding their breeding and standard sterile culture or farming.
In my view you may take training of Leech cultivation in Malaysia, they gives good training that will be helpful to you.

leeches are used here as instruments in Germany , what do you exactly mean by sterile leech bank ?
check al qanoon fil tibb volume 5 , it is given clearly there how to have a leech bank and it much the same here in Germany where leeches are kept .
The availability of sterile leeches is more difficult. But by simple methods, before applying the leech on the patient, you can make them sterile on the principles preached in ayurveda. and there are two varieties: poisonous and non poisonous.

Actually in India we are using leeches which are collected from wild and they are not born and brought up in ideal sterile conditions. So to breed them in standard scientific conditions is an urgent need here. I am interested to establish a leech farm so that we can grow and use these leeches for our hospital patients. I am curious to know the optimum temperature, dark/light cycles and other required conditions, how to clean the storage tank etc. for them.

We are taking all possible hygienic conditions available today but that is not enough to ensure their safe use. Zoologically there is no poisonous variety of leeches as per my study and research and all the complications attributed to the poisonous variety of leeches is because of their improper use.
