First of all how have you taken the contacts? Are the contacts taken manually by attaching Cu wire using a conducting paste such as silver or gold paste? Because there is a strong possibility that the manual contacts might not be exactly same. If some other technique is used then check whether the contacts taken are symmetric or not.
