Hope you are fine. It has been long since i listened and enjoyed your special talk on Graphene at CSIR-CECRI. I surfed through the internet and find the JCPDS information for Nickel cobaltite.
1. JCPDS no: 73-1702
2. JCPDS no: 73-1704

I hope this information would be little bit useful to you.
In principle, it can be expected that the Co3O4 diffraction pattern matches that of NiCo2O4 quite well - both have a spinel structure, and the difference between Ni and Co is only one single electron, so the atomic scattering factors of Co and Ni are very much the same, and since the structure is also the same (in principle), your result can be anticipated. I would expect only small differences, and you have to have good experimental data to see those changes! Cheers, Dirk
Hi there, AB2O4 is a spinel type structure so Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 of course as mentioned by Dirk as the same pattern...so in my suggestion run experiment of elemental analysis (SEM-EDS or ICP) if you you are not sure that your sample is derived from cobalt and nickel oxides.
