Hello everyone! this is quite common/rare observation that auto-activation of some genes apart from transcription factors are really a fascinating during Yeast two hybrid assay.But how can we explain its function if our protein of interest is not a TF? Is there any probability that this protein may have some Nucleic acid metabolism such as transcriptional activation apart from its real known function? If so what are other techniques or experiments that can be helpful to explain it?
