Hello everyone!!!

We're in a bit of a rut here and it'll be much help to us if you'd give me a moment of your time.

As Communication students we're currently struggling to find a Theoretical Framework applicable towards the communication field in our content analysis driven study on Anti-war content in movies. Our current Theoretical Framework is Structural Film Theory but sadly we're not confident in it as it's a film theory not a communication theory. Also in terms of Conceptual Framework we're also struggling to find/make one applicable towards identifying Anti-war content in movies.

Here's a bit more information on our study.

Working title: Analyzing the Anti-War Content in Selected Military Movies from 2011 to 2020

Scope and Delimitation: The study will mainly focus on military films released during the two thousands and the twenty tens, specifically from 2011 to 2020. The selected films will be centered around characters who are depicted serving in the military, and not films that incorporate the military in their overall storytelling.

Statement of the problem: This study seeks to analyze the common anti-war content in selected military movies of the recent decade.

Specifically, it will answer the following questions:

1. What are common anti-war content presented in military movies of the recent decade? 2. How does the military movie portray its anti-war content?

3. What other sentiment or content do these military movies portray?
