Apply this formula d = (w1 + V2×d2 + V3×d3) /(w1/d1 +v2+v3)
where W1 = 4mg
v2 = volume of iso-propyl alcohal
v3 = volume of nafion
d2 = density of iso-propyl alcohal
d3= density of nafion
d1=density of your catalyst
From this you will get density(d1) of material of the ink. Then multiply this density with the volume (5μL) of ink drop-casted on the glassy carbon electrode. This will ultimately give you the mass of the ink drop-casted on electrode..As you already know the area of electrode..Now divide this mass with the area of electrode and you will finally get the mass loading.... Hope you got the answer.
