Can anybody explain the diffuse peak (broad peak) in the neutron diffraction corresponds to ?

In the neutron diffraction spectra, a broad peak (diffuse peak) is exhibited and the diffuse peak is prominent with decrease in temperature. What kind of magnetic nature of the sample to exhibit the diffuse peak in the ND spectra?
