Can anyone help regarding ELECTROCHEMICAL STUDIES will be able to perform in 3electrode system for solid polymer electrolytes. As we are preparing solid polymer electrolytes combinations of two sets ( polymer+mg salt and polymer+Na salt) by using a solution casting technique. we are getting dried films of thickness 140-micrometer range. For these films is there any possibility to perform a CV, LSV studies in 3 electrode systems. If it is possible what would be the counter, reference, and working electrodes and also want to know the electrolyte solution .

The electrochemical studies such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) can be performed for solid polymer electrolytes using potentiostat/
galvanostat (PGSTAT Autolab) in a conventional three electrode assembly test cell.

Abhay Choudhary Thanks for your valuable answer sir, but the publication what you have attached is based on CR2032 coin cell set up. But my query is to know whether without fabricating coin cell, is it possible in 3 electrode system where we can dissolve our electrolyte solution and drop cast on the working electrode and dried for few hours by keeping them in 3 electrode system with reference and counter electrodes. where this method usually followed by the electrode deposition method.

Yes, you can do it in 3 electrode system. If you want to study the solid polymer electrolyte not electrode materials then no need to drop cast on working electrode, keep the electrolyte in solution phase and deep three electrode into that. Chose proper working electrode (glassy carbon, smooth graphite or smooth metal), proper counter electrode (may be platinum wire inside a fritted glass tube, ) and a reference electrode (Ag/AgCl or others) then applied appropriate potential.

Every body is trying to get the CV, LSV studies by fabricating coin cell. If you have any related papers regarding 3 electrode system please help out which will be so useful to me. Thank you.

Yeah, I think there are no paper in 3 electrode system for polymer electrolytes.
