When I read this short paragraph,

- Assignments like "β-configuration"(No 1), "pyranoid ring" (No 2, 3), "glycosidic bond" (No 4), etc ''

it is unclear why amideI used in vibration modes? in the other hand, I found some researchers used the word Assignments as vibration modes!

can any one explain this?
