Human recombinant erythropoietin is available in 2000i.u, 4000i.u like that in 0.5 ml, if we have to give 100 i.u/kg for rats which weighs only 200 grams, I need to take only 20 i.u. so we should give only 0.5 microlitre per rat, I decided to inject through microsyringe i.p, is it correct, or I need to dilute the erythropoietin. I don't know whether it can be diluted, which will work properly.

Yes, I dilute the EPO in water to 200uL for each ip injection for mice which makes life a lot easier. Seems to work fine. You can use control (H20) ip injections at equivalent volumes controls if you like.
