In many instances a small amount (5-30 ML.) of blood from the external surface of body is let out. In the process of homeostasis, some chemical parameters might change. I wish to know- what are the changes in the biochemistry of blood that take place eg. pH and after how much time does the compensatory mechanism stop?
The question is not clear. if u r asking what changes happen to the blood that was drawn out. Actually a lot happens, starting from pH, protein content, enzyme activity, concentrations of Ions (esp. Na+, Cl-),. Factors that affect are, temperature, prolonged delay after drawing the blood etc. The composition is also differs on what blood you draw: venous or arterial blood. type of sample: Heparinized blood or coagulated blood etc.
There is virtually no impact on body physiology, biochemical, hemostatic, or metabolic activity/systems with blood loss up to 15 percent of blood volume (similar to typical blood donor). Small amount like 5-30 ml don't have significant role in changing any parameter within human body .
