Hi Biond. The frequency of the exciting light source varies from a source to another. You have to know which type of source is used by your Raman spectrometer. The type of the source and all its specifications are listed in the manual of the spectrometer. Best wishes

You need two frequency ofcourse. One is the excitation frequency ( laser you used) which interacts with the vibrational mode of the molecule and will give you the raman. Typical excitation freq may be used as 9398.5 cm inverse.

You can do this conversion using the Gaussian out file. GaussSum have generate the Raman Intensities correspond to the Raman activities along with their figures as well as data file. (Separate Raman Intensity data providesto draw the simulated Raman spectrum). You can also use this GaussSum program for Orbital energy density diagram and electronic level HOMO LUMO contributions analysis etc.,

gausssum is good tool to show raman activity and raman intensity , but I also search about akeyword to be involved in root section of input file
