Hi researchers,

I got one tube of frozen BxPC-3 cell from my colleague and thawed it yesterday. My colleague told me when he cultured this cell previously, a lot of them will float in the flask but it was not contamination. The cells still can grow and be passaged. This morning I check the cell I thawed yesterday, many of them do float in the flask and only a few attach.

Is this normal for BxPC-3 cell line? If not, what happen to this? I use PRMI 1640 medium plus 10% FBS for cell culture.

Thanks.
