Border security is a delicate matter and requires a balanced approach so that the country is secure. Too strict visa policies, too much spending on border security, and erecttion of physical barriers can have adverse effect on tourism and ecology. Both expenditures on physical barriers and loss of opportunities due to ecological disasters have negative impact on economy.
Border security is very important especially in the entry of goods, which must be subject to inspection and quality control, so attention to border security is very important.
Security is important. But sometimes a very stringent policy may lead to reduction in sales, hence lower income.
