In the run, I have a standard of a known purity, a standard check, and my samples. Run time is 10 min and the preparation is simply dissolving standards and samples in MeOH and sonicate for two min. But I am receiving higher results?
Due to their massive use in a lot of products (plastics, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, rubber and so on) BHT as well as other compounds like phthalates, could be detected even in indoor dust and as indoor air pollutants, making them ubiquitary contaminants.
Repeated rinsing procedures with acetone, n-hexan, acetonitrile and following heating process of glassware, could reduce the starting contamination of labware surfaces.
