Dear colleagues,
I wondered what's the "best" way to measure ethanol concentration in samples that are about 200ul each? We need sensitivity to ~10 mM range. We used a biochemistry analyzer (measuring oxidative reaction) that we inherited from a colleague, but it's very old, not very reliable, and could be costly for replenishing reagents. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks!

The most accurate route of determining alcohol in blood is GC or HPLC. Several review articles are available. For example:

Hi Ta-Wen Ho, thank you for your question. Perhaps you can use impedance analyzer to perform dielectric measurement of ethanol concentration in the sample.
