I will be adding streptavidin onto the surface of a graphene coated glass slide; thereafter, I will be analyzing with a MALDI-TOF. I was wondering the best way to go about this? I was thinking of just submerging the coated glass into a concentrated streptavidin solution overnight at 4 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, I may try to just contain it to the graphene somehow. Any recommendations would be welcome

alternatively to the solutions proposed above, oxidizing your graphene layer (see Hummer's method) and then coupling the resulting carboxy groups with an amine group of the streptavidin molecule (EDC chemistry) should also work
