The natural choice will be sun or open air drying. However, low temperature smoking is also widely used in many parts of the world. However in both cases, the shelf life of the preserved materials will most likely be short. Hope this helps.

You can either sun dry or in hot air oven. I have dried several specimens in oven. Subsequently low temperature smoking may do.
