Trying to plot bending and shear force diagrams of solid element (C3D8R) and cross checking with hand calcs. I noticed that 'stress linearization' is used to get bending and shear stresses depending on the direction of element. But how to convert them and have a plot across the beam. Assuming the hollow section simply supported, whenever I try to create path to plot the stress I get the following errors. Any idea how to fix it?
After obtaining the stresses, how to convert these stresses to BMD and SFD along the length considering the direction of element is same as global coordinates as shown below
