hi All , i am using Rhizobium species for Atrazine (as nitrogen source )removal in MS medium, unfortunately from last week its not showing growth in liquid medium while some bacterial colonies are present on Agar-plate but while transferring it into liquid MS medium couldn't get positive result? any ideas and possibilities or any of you has faced same problem ?
Note: the culture condition is same as before

The best medium for Rhizbium acording to my experience is YMB (yeast manitol broth) contains: (pH 6.8 (g/liter: Manitol: 10.0, K2HPO4: 0.5, MgSO4.7H2O: 0.2, NaCl: 0.1, Yeast Extract: 0.5, pH: 6.8). Hope it works for you
I think it depends on cellular concentrations of rhizobium inoculum. It must be ranged from 10 6 to10 9 CFU mL – 1 after 72 h .
Or you can use MSM amended with 0.5% manitol or sucrose as carbon source for atrazine biodegradation studies.
