That depends on further cells applications. There are numerous available materials. The price is also important factor. However, the main challenge is preserving the cells for prolonged time. Their number usually drops significantly, especially in the first months of storage.

Hi sunil , thanks for the suggestion.the type of bacteria im looking is LAB (facultative anaerobe). since we are looking in to spray drying as encapsulating method , again stability is the issue because of high temperature.so looking for right aids which will act as thermoprotectants as well as for control delivery in to the matrix.
