Australias federal construct has been ripe for reform for decades. The pandemic has seen Governmental instruments move quicker than before. Now that is Australia is moving past the threat from a health perspective, it's time to consider how we climb out of the economic black hole. Can the pandemic be used as a catalyst to reform areas such as health, education, environment and tax? If so, can this be done via the newly established national cabinet? None of us will be around long enough for COAG to make a decision. Interested to hear other opinions and options.
