Dear colleagues, we have articles in form of original Research, review articles, short reports or letters, case studies and methodologies. By my understanding, review article is a review of previous works on a topic. But sometimes you see review article coming from a new fellow who has no publication or previous work on a topic. Do you think this is normal? At what point/stage should an author be thinking to write a review paper on a topic?
