Hi I plan to do an asthma study and found out, that to see the role of mast cells in Asthma, you should immunize mice (BALB/c) with a low dose of OVA.
Can anybody please tell me, what a low dose is (ug?).
What amount do you challenge them i.n or i.t.?
I plan to immunize them 4 times and 2 challenges.

So we used to do 10ug of OVA in alum and inject them I.p (TWICE) and then nebulize them after 5 days with 3% OVA for 10 mins for 3 consecutive days. Although, we used c57bJ and we used neonatal mice. I am sure you can try with this dose on blab/c.
