I have to simulate a hydrometallurgical process where there are the following phases: - leaching (solid-liquid reactions) - cementation (solid-liquid reactions) - electrowinning (energy ) - evaporation (evaporation and crystallization of salts NaCl , KCl etc)
Does anyone have experience on this, can you tell me how I can set up the simulation and maybe send me some examples? thank you

No, the process uses the solution of NH4Cl to leach the ZnO ... the NaCl e KCl are only by-product the we need to remove as a crystal in crystallizazion to maintain the salts balance in the process.
My problem is to identify a good simulation that represent the real case using Aspen plus .... I know exactly what happen inside my process , becasue we have some data from the plant, my focus is to determinate a process simulation that best represent it
As in this hydrometallurgical reaction the phases are fluid and solid you can go with proposed CFD-DEM approach. You have to solve Eulerian- Lagrangian model. for multiphase simulation. What is the particle size you are using in the material? You need to be more clear with your objective for simulation. Are you interested in the reaction solving?
