Does anyone have experience or insight on how to proceed with this method? Specifically, I’m trying to understand how MIC, MIC₅₀, and MIC₉₀ values were determined using absorbance data, as described in the following statement:

"MIC values were determined based on the concentration of extract at which the absorbance was less than or equal to the negative control. The MIC value results (concentration that caused 50% and 90% inhibition of bacterial growth) were determined."

Any guidance or explanation would be greatly appreciated.
