As an individual RG user, should one be able to request that the weekly score for one's own activity be omitted?
I don't like the score. Because I am often interested in many questions, I spend a lot of time answering them. I want to keep doing that. I am annoyed by a system that is not comprehensible. For example, every week the system congratulates me several times that my activity rate is the highest in my academic field, at the same time my score is constantly decreasing. Even if it were vice versa, it would make me dissatisfied. I am not interested in the score, but when it is there, perhaps I somehow become addicted to give to much attention to this score which is not plausible how it matter. I would therefore like to request that no more scores be shown to me. Maybe there are other RG users who think the same way, then we are a group and can express our wish together. Of course it is an individual decision.

I got the answer of RG to read the Q&A Guidlines, that is not encouraging for my question. But nevertheless, it should be possible to express needs. When it comes to communication under democratic conditions, there should be a body of users that reflects such needs - parallel to the possibility of obtaining official information from the Support Center. What do you think?
In any case, it should not be forbidden to talk about all conditions of work and communication as scientists working to scientific standards. I know that open access platform for high quality science - like Wikipedia - touch such aspects. There can also be new ideas, that's what I thought so far. I am no longer quite sure whether this is being sanctioned by the company as undesirable behaviour. But RG is an honorable platform, in my opinion.

I thank everyone who shares my question. I probably won't be spending much more time at RG, because in the last years of life, there are really more important things. I don't have a new career in mind either, but everything I'm still working on should be preserved for posterity. And from time to time I also find it attractive to take part in discussions, often only because I enjoy contradicting others with rational arguments. So it's not a question of whether an RG score is valuable or not. Rather, it is about finding a reasonable, visible world for those areas of perception that do not concern you at all. But this is not the case with RG.
If it were a democratic institution, there would have to be a committee of participants with whom one can discuss such aspects within the public of RG-users - and which has a public platform for general wishes and rights (!) of the participants. This is obviously not the case. Only the possibility of individual counselling is offered, which can then be quite stereotypical and resentful. Also RG is obviously only an economical maximizing company. I had expected something more here, connected with the name Bill Gates. However, if this comment is criticized by RG, I will make it public.
I don't understand the RG score creation , but I don' t really mind. Score is of minor importance, as long as RG provides other benefits for me.

Hein, I understand well your post. Do what you like to do and forget the score. The important thing in this forum is to exchange perspectives and learn from one another. I like to exchange perspectives with you and find you a nice colleague. Please, continue to be a RG user.

All I'm saying is that sometimes you get angry about completely unimportant things - and that doesn't have to be in a world where things are rational. Time will soon have caught up with me. But thank you for the words of encouragement.
