I am really worried, most of the fund generated for educational funding is from economic activities. In this case, we expect a sharp fall in research funding. It will take time to recover.

The government research funding quota would in general decrease because of diverting to priorities in medical infrastructure and disaster management. This would reduce student scholarships and research projects, which in turn leads to more student dropouts, which mean less incomes for educational and research institutions. So institutional research function also decrease (unless it is something related to a solution of the covid-19 problem).
