Is it possible that the receptor in the skin as acupoint acts as "electric" meridian for our body to connect it with our 'qi' ?

One can apply concepts of Yang and Yin to cations and anions, but in Chinese medicine, the overall presentation and then a response to a treatment are the Yang and Yin we are looking at. Is the patient hot or cold? Strong or debilitated? Is the problem internal or more on the surface? Is the patient wet, damp, or dry? Each of these reflect a balance or imbalance of Yang or Yin tendencies.
