I did the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using plant leaf extracts. After the extract was reacted with AgNO3 with a volume ratio of 5: 1 (extract: AgNO3 1mM), the color of the solution after 24 hours became increasingly dark brown and continued to approach black for up to 96 hours. Initially the color of the solution is dark brown.

The color change, as far as I know, is an indicator of the formation of silver nanoparticles, but peaks do not form at 400-500 nm wavelengths during 96 hours of reaction on the UV-Vis absorbance spectrum. Is there a possibility of phytochemicals in leaf extracts that inhibit the formation of silver nanoparticles or other reasons?
