The hypothesis launched by Charles Bufe and David Perkins (Evidence for a Global Seismic-Moment Release Sequence, BSSA, 835-845, 2005), a few months before the big Indian Ocean tsunami, of the global clustering of large earthquakes and the approaching of a sequence of big events, was seen as confirmed by many, with the occurrence of six M=8.5+ earthquakes between December 2004 and April 2012.
Two questions arise: Has the above sequence statistical significance? And, if yes, are there more megaquakes on the way?
Just a small correction: the reference of Bufe and Perkins article was incomplete and somewhat incorrect. It should be:

The fact is those earthquakes have occurred, whether this has statistical significance or not is questionable. In fact, this is seen that strain release pattern has changed with occurrence of more or larger earthquakes in recent time, worldover. In Andaman -Sumatra region, the occurrence rate of larger earthquakes (Mw ≥ 7.0) has increased in recent time, 13 such occurrences are noticed between 2002 and 2014. The figure does not indicate that all accommodated strain has been released, so there may be a chance that larger earthquake may occur; when, where and magnitude is unknown.

And do you associate the occurrence of the huge Chile 2010 and Japan 2011 earthquakes with the changes in strain release pattern in the Andaman - Sumatra region, too? Or the effects will be restricted to the Indian Ocean área?
One can estiamte conditional probabilities in order to see the likelihood of future mega-events in an area, which has a long history of such earthquake
Try to estimate, what is pressure bistribution below us.
Better will be- to follow changes in (non-electromagnetic) Earth radiation- but this is too complicated psychologically for mainstream.

Some ten years ago Siberian scientists demonstrated, that solar system heats up due to external factors. They predicted things, which can be better understood in terms of wortex physics, ether etc. Now we see, that the Sun indeed become too active and the Earth is clearly "overheated" and react nervously to cosmic irritations.
