There are a lot of journal that publish freely (now the open access is more popular than years ago), you need to define the kind of journal that you want to publish in. Most of the scopus journal have a cost, but there are journal that are not in Scopus but will help you to introduce in the research world...

Both journal are free of charge... If you do not have any publications you have to start from this kind of journal and them when you got some experience try the top ones.

Most journals have an option that means that you do not have to pay to publish your paper. On the other hand, it typically means that you will not be able to even browse and find your article in full-text form. On the other hand, I think most journals allow you to download your own article for personal use.
There are a lot of journals out there that don't charge an APC. I'm sure you can find many of them in your field. The only thing is that you would have to transfer the copyright to the publisher before your article is published. There is also usually an embargo period --typically about 12 months -- that is imposed on the article.
Most journals published by professional societies do not charge fees for publication of articles from their members. Similarly, government owned journals do not ask for publication fees. But in most cases you have to subscribe at least for one year.
