I am working in an in vivo electrophysiology lab, and we do not have the resources to do our own immunohistochemistry. Initially, we went to the university's pathology core to develop a protocol for our antibody, but their product is not of high enough quality for our purposes.
My question is: are there any corporations or vendors that will perform immunohistochemistry? Ideally, we would send the company the whole (rat) brain, with which they would process, section, and stain. If there are any such businesses in the Atlanta, GA area, that would be even better for local drop off (I work out of Emory University).
If not, are there any university or institute Cores that take samples from 3rd parties?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

you can collaborate with a different research institute, and take their help for your work , I feel that in a research lab, ICC is done at the best hand, with minimum error for antibody dilutions and standerization for experimental and working solutions.

There is a company in Milan, Italy who would most likely take a project like this. It is called LaboSpace. You will also have to deliver the antibodies.
A colleague of mine recently got brain tissue stained by NDB Bio Labs and was happy with the quality of their work. They did a great job with sectioning and immunohistochemistry. Here is the link www.ndbbio.com
