I wonder if there are examples of NMR experiments where the resulting NMR spectra show periodic signals, being these periodic signals produced by the NMR experiment itself, external phenomena, or intrinsic properties of the biospecimen (biomolecules) being analyzed. I am especially interested in experimental designs commonly used in NMR-based metabolomics (e.g. the use of a CPMG pulse to analyze body fluids), but other scenarios would also be of interest.

define periodic, and define the timescale of the periodicity. Periodic in the time domain or frequency domain. A biospecimen could show a periodicity of certain metabolites as a function of a circadian rhythm. A temperature variation in the laboratory can induce small changes in chemical shift of samples. If this is coupled to an air-conditioner cycling it can be periodic. A pulse nutation NMR experiment will lead to periodic changes in signal intensity. please clarify.
Your question, " show periodic signals? " I don't know your question meanings for what., but NMR is very powerful for chemical structural identification if this compound is pure, or no impurity, 1H NMR and 13C NMR should be clean and no apparent, not integrity signals appear at else peaks.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I refer to periodicity in the frequency domain. So signals appear in the ppm axis with some periodicity.

The only example I know in NMR is the Fourier transform of a truncated FID.
I am interested in examples like the one above, but with a biological cause if possible.

to me it is also not clear what you mean with "periodic". Do you have an artifact (please show it). Periodic is obviously the Ammonium (1H coupled to 14N spin 1) Ion which can be found in biological samples....
