So am I! My daughter bans all TV for my granddaughter aged 1, which she says is backed up by research. I have seen some research that TV is harmful for older children, but would have thought below age two it is likely to do more good than harm. I think there is far too much "approved" violence on TV, and I will not watch murder dramas or most war films.
