I have some heterocyclic compounds in pure form (confirmed by authentic spectral techniques), in view of further applicative studies I would like to prepare crystals of each compound.
The growth method depends on the material which you want to grow.
If your material is stable at high temperature without decomposition, then you can use melt growth methods like Bridgman or Czochralski methods to grow bulk crystals.
If your material decompose at melting temperature or not melting congruently, then you need to go for solution growth.
For solution growth, you have to find a suitable solvent to grow the crystal.
I think solution growth is more suitable method as most of the heterocyclic compounds are mechanically weak and thereby quite hard to grow by melt growth.
