I am trying to design an evaporator for a Vapor Compression Cycle but how/where to get the heat transfer correlation for air side. Please note that air has moisture in it, which is bound to get condensed.
first find the properties of air with moisture in it, then use the correlation and if there is condensation, find the condensation rate using the condensation equation. heat transfer coefficient of air will change with changing moisture content. Use matlab to solve it.
Well, your questions is so wide that is complicated to answer but, for example in the field of heat exchanger there are experimental correlation for Colburn factor (Nu is a direct function of Colburn factor) for several finned tubes configuration. you can check in "Heat transfer enhancement by winglet-type vortex generator arrays in compact plain-fin-and-tube heat exchangers" by joardar and jacobi.
