Hemolyzed samples are one of the most common interferences in the laboratory (Ho, et al., 2021). It is often assessed visually by the appearance of the sample making it subjective and often unreliable (Mehmet, et al., 2011). In light of this, have there been studies which has provided a reference chart for clinical biochemical tests of hemolyzed samples so as to set a standard for the acceptance, rejection, or assessment of samples?
