Do we study real surrounding nature or we study ourself? I am talking about physics and geometry. Something we measure in real world, something we see in our mind, the internal world. For example the mathematics is a product of our internal world, i.e. our mind. But the knowledge that the length of that table is 1 meter is surely a result from experiments with nature.

What is amount of idealism in physics, technology, natural sciences? Could you provide any references?
