Coconut water or the liquid endosperm of Cocos nucifera L. is an interesting biological material. It has been widely used in growth media for plant tissue culture (1). TULECKE et al. (2) have made detailed chemical analysis of it. They also determined the RNA-P and DNA-P contents of coconut water.
