I was expecting a dependency on the material used (as well as the material condition), the coatings (in many DNA-related cases, they use self-assembled monolayers for surface conditioning). According to my knowledge, droplets are not generated in microfluidic devices. We have to provide droplets from outside as a input on the basis of what type of droplet is needed for our experiment.
