Ebolavirus is just one species. There are different isolates from different outbreaks, such as Ebolavirus_Sudan and Ebolavirus_Reston and Eboloavirus_Sierra_Leone. Ebolavirus is one species of Filovirus genus which includes Marburg virus and Cuevavirus.
Some neutralizing antibodies could be cross protective for all strains in the Ebolavirus species, but some are likely to be protective for only a subset of the strains or isolates in the Ebolavirus species. Each polyclonal sera or monoclonal antibody has its own properties with regard to breadth of protection.
