Hi, could I ask the experts here? My research objective is to
1. To look for Prevalence and factors associated with Long Covid
2. To look for the association between Qol and Long Covid
I just want to ask for objective number 1, I should do univariable and multivariable regression to look for associated factors. How about objective number 2? Can I just use chi-square to look for the association between QoL and Long Covid( Long Covid Yes/No and QoL Yes/No), or should I do again univariable and multivariable for all factors associated with QoL then only look for the association with Long Covid?
For the first objective Long Covid is dependent variable and factors associated (like age, gender...) are independent variable. Do univariable and multivariable logistic regression to look for associated factors of Long Covid. Whereas for the second objective QoL may be the dependent variable and Long Covid is the independent variable. In such scenario, univariable and multivariable logistic regression to be done for all factors associated (like age, gender...) with QoL in addition to Long Covid. If your intention is just to look for the association between QoL and Long Covid a Chisquare test will do.
