I would like to use the participants excerpts. But I was asked by my supervisor to write my approach of analysis.. I have read about three different approaches used to analyze the data qualitatively but not sure which one i should follow.
It is not clear what you mean by "participants excerpts", so could you tell us more about the kind of data that you have?
In general, one of the most commonly used forms of qualitative data analysis is Braun and Clarke's (2006) thematic analysis.
I think thematic analysis will be suitable for your data. Victoria Clarke is an expert in qualitative analysis. Do check her profile on Google Schoar and her articles of thematic analysis will be very helpful for you.
