I am trying to identify other post project review methods that do not involve the building development team or facility managers. Preferably qualitative methods.
Assess tenant behavioural issues related to complaints, utilities consumption, waste volumes and type, charity activities, complaints by community and use of public services like police and fire.
Post-Occupation Evaluation is, in my opinion, oriented towards quantitative results and that is all. However, the qualitative analysis uses to be always very revealing. I suggest you to look for basic texts on the Phenomenology of space. The subject is of concern of Architecture, Geography, Psychology and, as an integrating sphere, Philosophy.
Aloísio I am actually interested in the qualitative methods. Fleming (2004) explained from an FM point of view why the qualitative method is preferable, to fully understand the experience of the end-user in the occupancy of a building.
