I am carrying out my PhD project on students-based Theatre-in-Education. Students will conceive a play, rehearse and perform. I need to rate the over all process, especially their performance. This is to allow me ascertain if their drama will provide the intervention I tented.
Can I get a scale to adopt in doing that?

For my part I would not try to have a concrete scale evaluating specific aspects of their excellence but would focus on developing a rubric in conjunction with the students.
Perhaps they can be honest with themselves about the degree of accomplishment they feel they have achieved. Have they given it their best? Have they prepared all the material? What was their level of involvement?
Just a suggestion...I have some experience directing student theater groups and it has worked for me.

Miguel Ferrando-Rocher Thank you for your response. It's a nice idea developing the rubric with the students. It can serve as a form of self-assessment. However, I would need a document representing the instrument used in assessing the students' performance. It must appear in my appendices. Can I just document the rubric developed with the students?
You can look at Likert Scales analysis and modify them for your purpose, but have an option for 'don't know' :)
